I could feel what a struggle you guys were in, thanks to God above Jake is at peace now, the originator of our peace, without Him there is no peace. May He hold your family tightly in His strong arms.
There is no more joyous occasion than when God takes one of His home. We are dancing for joy with Jake and weeping with you and your family. Our love and prayers are with you.

It was so great to see y'all this weekend and we are so blessed to have seen Jake before he went to our Father in Heaven. There is a moment that will never been forgotten and a child, a friend, a son, a brother that will never be forgotten. He went to our Lord on the day of rest - perhaps that is what he was waiting for. Your family is in our prayers and thoughts always. If there is anything that y'all need - Dean and I are only a phone call away.
I played soccer on the women's team at Sam Houston, and Jake was always there to help out an make us laugh. I have talked to him a few times over the past couple of years and I was so impressed on how positive he was about everything. Jake touched a lot of lives he may never know...My prayers are with the Cartwright family and I pray that you can find a peace in knowing he is with our Lord and Savior and will never have to experience an ounce of pain ever again. He will bein my heart forever. You all are in my heart.
